An intergenerational celebration

In the historic centre of the town of Nolay, 18 km from Beaune, the Tourism Agency, in partnership with the Syndicat de Défense des Hautes Côtes , organises a fun, educational, friendly activity based around the vines, wine and a live show. The 20th edition of DE CEP EN VERRE event will take place in Nolay on 3 and 4 august 2023.

The High Points:

Around forty craftsmen invite you to discover and share their passion: ceramist, basket maker, ironworker, wood turner… Their show their talent and know-how through demonstrations, a real living heritage. 8 winemakers from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune honour the 60-tears-old appellation Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes, but that’s not all. They also invite you to discover their secrets through commented tastings. The opening ceremony is followed by a tour of honour by artisans and the sharing of a glass of friendship offered by the municipality of Nolay. Giant wooden games for the whole family, learning workshop for children, delight all ages from 7 to 77. In addition to this programme, on Sunday 4th from 9:00am to 2:00pm, there’s a 7 km pedestrain rally, suitable for the whole family. A walk that takes you into the countryside, between woodland and vineyards, with 6 tasting stages and a meal enjoyed out in a vineyard. Equipped with a questionnaire, participants in this rally answer the riddles of the vineyards and are rewarded at the awards ceremony at the end of the route on the square of Nolay Church.
